San Francisco

As I flew in on a late Wednesday night, the lights filled the airplane window. Its one of those moments that only a knew city brings and the excitement begins. For me there was a lot of nervousness, as I landed and got out to meet my friend Jana. Jana was a friend who I met from New Community, my church, when she joined my small group. That was over two years ago and I was very blessed to have such a wonderful host in San Francisco. The purpose of this trip was to apply for my Spanish visa and much like many things in this process I had to fly in person to drop off my application. This application has taken the last eight months because obtaining all the required documents has been quite the process. Thankfully everything went relatively smooth. I say relatively because when your at a consulate you are definitely dealing with another country and lets just say customer service is not a top priority. In this process I definitely feel God connected me with an individual who was more than helpful in his own way. If certain situations had changed I am sure he would not have taken the time, which was about an hour and a half with me, compared to the twenty minutes the appointment is scheduled for. So I felt very blessed and excited about all that God had orchestrated beyond my control. Now I wait for the visa to go to Spain, which should take about two months. As I boarded my plane back to Spokane, I felt quite content knowing God has brought me this far and I am confident that His plan will happen.

Last September

So this journey started over a year ago in September where I was officially accepted on staff with Church Resource Ministries, but really it is something that God has been coordinating in my life for a while. When I graduated high school, I chose to go to Capernwray Bible School in England. This choice was one that changed my life in a very profound way. It opened my eyes to many things, but one of the main issues was the state of the Church in Europe. After coming back to Spokane, I had a plan to create a ministry in the West Central neighborhood. With the help of so many wonderful people, God has used this in a very powerful way and continues to actively work in the lives of those who are apart of it. This experience expanded my view point of what God was calling me specifically too. This calling to go back and impact the Church in Europe was on my heart and God confirmed that calling through C.RM.. An organization who I am excited to be apart of and would say that they are on the cutting edge of ministry, through focusing on leadership. Their goal is to develop leaders worldwide who are not only passionate about Christ, but leaders who are given the tools to lead responsibly and effectively. I would really encourage you to check out their site as that relays their vision much more effectively than my words.

So upon joining staff with them, I have been on a journey to Malaga, Spain, a city and country that I am so very excited to learn, live, and do ministry in. This blog is to tell of that journey and to keep updated those who may have any interest. The road has not always been easy, but I push forward with the hopes of  journeying with you!
